Project Development News August 2015

Hello from LCCT

I hope you are all having a good summer. Despite the August go slow and holidays for some of us, many find the summer months to be full of activities and ongoing work in the communities we are part of, we therefore hope some of you will be around to receive and make use of this month's Project Development Email!

Included this month are a couple of training events that LCCT are partnering with others to deliver in the Autumn. The first is a FREE 2.5 day Conflict Transformation course aimed at church and project leaders who want to better deal with conflict as it arises. The second is a day training for those who want to improve and develop their work with volunteers.

Also included are links to regular newsletters from other capacity and support organisations, and information on upcoming funding opportunities and a Community Matters Funding Fair taking place in September.

As those who are LCCT members or friends will know, LCCT changed the way we organise ourselves last year and now hold three Assemblies a year where decisions are made by our member projects and associated members on the running of the organisation. The next LCCT Assembly takes place on the morning of Thursday  8th October and is open to anyone who would like to come along to take part in our networking and learning together. Assemblies usually include food, good conversation, sharing of learning and experience, and some 'business' of the trust. If you would like to join us to find out more please register online here, you would be more than welcome to join us.

As ever, if you have any information that you would like to share on the next Project Development Email please do send it through to us at jon@lcct.org.uk or call us on 0113 3508622.

With peace and blessings

The LCCT Learrning and Development team
