hildencharitabletrustThe Hilden Charitable Fund supports charities in the UK and non-governmental organisations in the developing world. In the UK, the Fund supports projects concerned with: homelessness; asylum seekers and refugees; community-based initiatives for young people aged 16-25 years and penal reform. In the developing world, the Fund supports projects concerned with: community development; education; and health.

Average grants are £5,000 and the next deadline for applications is 2nd September.

Grants are available in the UK for projects concerned with the following areas:

Homelessness.
Penal affairs.
Asylum seekers and refugees.
Community based initiatives for disadvantaged young people aged 16 to 25 years.

Grants are available in developing countries for projects concerned with:

Community development.
Education.
Health.

Grants are available for capital or revenue funding. Funding is directed largely at supporting work at the community level.

 

The Fund particularly welcomes projects that address the needs and potential of girls and women.

 

Application forms are available to complete online. The application form should then be printed out and returned to the Fund by post.
