Idox Innovation Awards

Idox (a leading providor of funding and policy information ) are currently celebrating thier 30th birthday as part of whcih they are running the Idox Innovation Awards, and are now inviting entries.

Morrisons Foundation

morrisonsThe supermarket chain Morrisons has established the Morrisons Foundation to support local good causes across Great Britain. The Foundation, a charity registered in England, Wales and Scotland, receives its funding from a number of different sources including the proceeds of the sales of carrier bags from its stores in Scotland and Wales. This income stream is ring-fenced, so money raised from the sale of bags in Scotland/Wales will be spent on charities benefiting people in Scotland/Wales.

Leeds Inspired Small Grants

LeedsInspiredLeeds Inspired Small Grants are provided by Leeds City Council. Leeds Inspired aims to promote access to culture and achieve a balance of creative opportunity across the city for the benefit of all communities.

The scheme works with a wide ranging definition of culture that includes: contemporary visual art, music, theatre, dance, puppetry, craft, film, photography, radio, new media, digital art and writing.

Activities which increase people's access to culture and enable people to take part fully and with greater confidence will be funded.

Maximum Value: £ 1,000

The 2015 deadlines for applications are 12 noon on:  3 July, 4 September, and 6 November.

Leeds Community Foundation - Third Sector Health Grants

Two Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) in Leeds have invested a combined amount of over £1 million in their communities to improve health and wellbeing across the North, South and East of the city.

NHS Leeds North CCG and NHS Leeds South and East CCG have launched the NHS CCG Third Sector Health Grants scheme, which will help to reduce the gap in life expectancy between the most deprived and most affluent communities and reduce health inequalities in Leeds.

Funding is available to support various projects, such as developing or delivering services, establishing and maintaining partnerships, and involving local people in community activities surrounding health and wellbeing.
