The journey to the cross was a journey of both suffering and compassion. The offer to carry the cross from Simon and the wipe of his face from Veronica were acts of kindness and compassion.
Today being human is not easy. We can all suffer and many do, and yet we all also have within us the amazing capacity to be compassionate and kind.
We can all be kinder to ourselves, kinder to others and kinder to our environment. Between September 5th to 13th 2020, the first Leeds Festival of Kindness, Compassion & Wellbeing will take place in the city.
Events, talks, acts of kindness across venues, within organisations, in communities and on the streets in our city. Offering everyone opportunities to be part of an experience of the kinder Leeds which we all want to live and thrive in. Come and join us on the Leeds Kindness Revolution.
