Home for Good is a Christian charity that encourages individuals to care for the vulnerable children of Leeds through fostering or adopting and equips churches to support these families.
We thank God for many foster and adoptive families across the city. We want to help Leeds city council recruit 100 new foster carers in the next two years. Being assessed, opening your home to children and young people and changing some of your lifestyle can require sacrifice but as people respond to God’s call in James 1:27 ‘to look after orphans and widows in their distress’, we believe that children and young people will be able to experience love, safety and security.
- For churches to invite Home for Good to share God’s call to us to care for vulnerable children
- For more people to explore caring for vulnerable children
- For Christian foster carers and adopters to experience support from one another and for their church communities to support them practically, emotionally and spiritually.
