Mahabba (which means love in Arabic) is a national initiative with a local focus. Its aim is to see ministry among people of Muslim heritage become a normal part of church life.
Mahabba Leeds meets monthly on the third Monday to pray for Muslim neighbours/colleagues/friends across the city. Meetings alternate between Harehills and Beeston, two areas with high concentrations of Muslims. Praise God for a focused outreach over a period of years among those communities.
Ministry among Muslims is known to be hard and demands sacrifice – ‘my all’. Join us in praying that Muslims in Leeds will discover the love of God for them, so supremely displayed in the cross.
23rd April is the start of the Islamic holy month of Ramadan. Mahabba can provide you with daily prompts to help you share God’s love with Muslims by engaging in prayer and acts of kindness.
