Trustee

Could you support Leeds Christian Community Trust (LCCT) by becoming a Trustee?

Do you have a passion to see the Christian community in Leeds working together to bring positive change across the city? Would you be interested in supporting and shaping the charitable work of our 18 member projects? If so, please consider joining our board of Trustees.

LCCT has been supporting small grass roots initiatives since 2003. We provide governance, financial oversight, infrastructure, and development support to local initiatives looking to make a difference in Leeds. We act as an incubator providing the support small projects need to get started and then to grow and develop. Our current projects work in the areas of children and young people, families, community development, welfare, mission, intercession, counselling, advocacy, and training.

We would be interested to hear from anyone with the commitment and drive to help us further our charitable objectives, regardless of previous experience, and will provide training as required.

We are particularly looking for people with skills, knowledge and experience in the following areas:

  • Financial management and accounting
  • Health, safety and wellbeing
  • Organisational governance
  • Business management and development
  • Human Resources management

LCCT is working towards the Cultural Cohesion Quality Mark and part of this work is to develop the diversity of our Board. Therefore, we particularly welcome interest from members of Black, Asian or minority ethnic communities in Leeds.

For more information including application process, role description and time commitment please contact catherine@lcct.org.uk.

All LCCT Trustees are required to undergo an enhanced DBS check and to complete basic safeguarding training.
